Tips for posting various items
Knives:
They are well wrapped (news paper, cardboard or even tea towels) and the tips are covered and not exposed so that they don't puncture through the envelope.
Scissors:
Wrap these tightly blade to handle if more than one and make sure they're separated so they don't rub against each other.
Circular Saw Blades:
Make sure each blade is marked with your company name. Ensure they are stacked one ontop of the other with a sheet of news paper inbetween and place them in a carboard box that matches the same dimensions of the stack of blades(ensure any spaces are filled with newspaper and the blades are not lose).
Thicknesser Blades:
These usually come with the original plastic sleeving when bought from new and should be reused to post the blades. Alternatively, use strong cardboard cut to the same size as the blades and then pack the sides with carboard too, then wrap the whole lot in packing tape, making sure your 'To' and 'From' labels are securley stuck to the package.
